Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Gooso mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Gooso Technologies (“Gooso,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Service Description

Gooso provides a platform for searching, comparing, and booking flight reservations. We act as an intermediary between you and airlines or travel providers. The actual air transportation is provided by the respective airline, and their terms and conditions apply to your flight.

We do not own, operate, or control any airline. Flight availability, pricing, schedules, and service quality are determined by the airlines and are subject to change without notice.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

4. Bookings and Payments

4.1 Pricing

All prices displayed in the App include applicable taxes and fees unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed and payment is processed. Currency conversions, if applicable, are for informational purposes only and the final charge may vary based on your payment provider’s exchange rate.

4.2 Payment

Payments are processed through our authorized third-party payment providers. By making a payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

4.3 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation notification from Gooso with a valid booking reference. A pending payment does not constitute a confirmed booking.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are determined by the airline and the fare rules associated with your booking. Please review the fare conditions before completing your purchase.

• Refund eligibility depends on the airline’s fare rules and the timing of your cancellation request
• Service fees charged by Gooso may be non-refundable
• Refund processing times depend on your payment provider and may take several business days

6. User Conduct

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information, including passenger details
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the App’s systems or security
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the App
• Resell or commercially exploit the services without our written consent

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, content, logos, trademarks, and software, is the property of Gooso Technologies and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gooso shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Flight delays, cancellations, or schedule changes by airlines
• Loss of baggage or personal belongings during travel
• Errors in information provided by airlines or third-party service providers
• Unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to maintain credential security

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to Gooso for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ethiopia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
